The CA CAI Extension for Google Chrome automates generating test cases out of captured HTTP and HTTPS traffic from the active tab in the Chrome Web browser.

The Chrome extension lets you perform the following tasks:

  • Capture and analyze HTTP traffic from any Web page
  • Create tickets and then view the tickets in the DevTest Portal
  • Create stateful or data-driven baselines from transactions that have been captured and then view the baselines in DevTest Workstation
  • Document transactions to obtain visibility into the system architecture and the flow of data, exposing what is happening in the backend code and database

The Chrome Extension removes the need to install an agent on your application server, saving you effort of installation an agent, system downtime, etc.
