We want to hear from you!
In order to improve your experience with CA Communities, we want to better understand your expectations for questions and answers.
This is the second question of a series of polls that are being posted here since a couple of weeks. You can learn more about the series here: Your Questions & Answers Experience
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
Option 4. I would prefer my questions be answered by another member of the community.
With the communities large user base, it is imply that other "non-ca" community members will be participating.
For CA, we are committed to being involved in providing the best information we can & to provide an answer for your "Questions" post in conjunction with fellow community members when possible. As the information/participant might come from Dev, PM, support, educations, PS etc.. in which they might have insight that could be beneficial to the questions. Afterward you can choose from the number of replies, if any of them answered you question to mark it as correct.
If you prefer more of a pure peer to peer interactions, you more likely get this when making a post as a "Discussion" type.
Thank you to everyone who has responded so far! It's a great help. If you haven't responded, please do give us your feedback. This poll will remain open until June 27th. Thanks! -Luu
I am very happy to take correct answers from either CA or Community members (vote), yet - and here comes the big caveat - I still expect CA as the software vendor to be the final, decisive instance to answer things otherwise unanswered for some time, correct potentially wrong information, answer questions that rely on inside knowledge, and to respond to questions which are directly calling upon CA to provide some input.
In other words, we pay for support services, and while the community is an asset, I don't wish to see CA relieved from the responsibility of providing product support by means of "outsourcing" that task to Wolfgang Brückl^h^h^w I mean the community
