  • 1.  Moving from WebLogic to Tomcat experiences?

Since I am still experiencing issues with my process engine, I have started to think I might explore the possibility of changing my installation from using WebLogic to Tomcat. I know there are at least two references to the J2EE server (during the installation, and in NSA), but I'm not sure how to take an existing Clarity version from one to the other. Has anyone had good luck doing this in the past? I have a feeling the installation scripts install Tomcat, and then NSA controls the actual deployment.

    Thanks..

    Any??????

Do these on a test system first and validade integrity

    Scenario 1
Create a new dummy database and configure that to be use in NSA/CSA
Run the installer and choose Tomcat.
After you are done restore the old database definition in NSA/CSA

    Scenario 2
Create a new dummy database and configure that to be use in NSA/CSA
    Backup Clarity
Run the installer and choose Tomcat.
    After you are done
restore the old database definition in NSA/CSA
    restore clarity from backup
