We are using Clarity v12.1 ondemand for IT PPM. We always planned our implementation to be scalable - expecting that someday we would include other functional PMOs within the organization, and that the use of Partitions would come into play at some point. That point is now, and we are struggling to test this out and determine the impact.

I have read through this tech article, which was very helpful:

However even after setting up a partition model and partitions in our test environment, and associating objects (e.g Project) with a partition model, we do not seem to have the options it mentions in the article (2.4 - 2.7). No where in the attributes or views can we locate an option to associate them with a partition.

We do realize now that our initial implementation may not have been configured in the most ideal way to use partitions. Initially, no Partition model was created, so all existing data lives at the System level.

Can anyone offer any guidance here? Thanks
