New Agent Releases!

Discussion created by pkazmir Employee on Feb 22, 2013
Hi,

I'm pleased to announce three new agent releases:

CA Workload Automation Agent for Microsoft SQL Server r11.3.1

This new agent enables you to execute and manage jobs running on multiple Microsoft SQL Server instances from CA Workload Automation, including step-level logging and control, Windows SQL Server authentication and more. Through its CLI, it can be used with any CA Workload Automation engine that supports the CA Workload Automation System Agent r11.3. In addition, a native job type (WOBs) is planned for ESP 11.3 shortly.

CA Workload Automation Agent for Web Services r11.3.1

This new release of the Web Service agent includes new support for Document/Literal web services, integration with CA Process Automation (formerly CA ITPAM) – enabling the execution and monitoring of processes from Workload Automation, support for WS-Security, and support for firewall traversal via proxy servers. Through its CLI, this agent can be used with any CA Workload Automation engine that supports the CA Workload Automation System Agent r11.3. In addition, a native job type is planned for ESP 11.3 shortly.

CA Workload Automation System Agent for HP Integrity NonStop r11.3.1

This new release of the HP Integrity NonStop (Tandem) agent utilizes the same protocols and standards as the CA Workload Automation System Agent r11.3. It includes support for features like NSK parameter lists, spool file retrieval and management, job logs, ASSIGN, DEFINES and PARAMS support, file triggers, and dynamic workload server registration. A native job type for ESP is available via PTF. This new release represents an upgrade path from our older older CA ESP Workload Automation System Agent for Tandem.

All three agents are generally available and can be downloaded from support.ca.com.

Much thanks to the Beta Testers who partnered with us to make sure these releases were high in quality and meet the needs of customers like you. We couldn't have done it without you.

The team is working hard on additional updates and new agents, so I hope to have more great news for you soon!

Thanks,
Peter
