Trying to XOG in new projects from an Excel spreadsheet

We are trying to learn how to use XOG. Currently, we have about 60 active projects we need to create in Clarity. They are currently in process and being managed on an Excel spreadsheet. We do not want to create each project from scratch since we have all of the data outside of Clarity. We'd like to XOG the projects in.
Two questions:
1. What's the best way to XOG out a project template that we can use on our excel spreadsheet?

2. How do you XOG in new projects and have Clarity create new ID's for them? (Our project ID's are set to auto-numbered)
