CA Tuesday Tip: (CA IDMS) Specifying GJAUTH and GJAUTHPW in the VARBLIST

Discussion created by Eddy_G Employee on Apr 30, 2013
CA IDMS Tuesday Tip by Ian Hill, Principal Support Engineer for April 30, 2013.

When doing an install don't forget to specify a value for GJAUTH and GJAUTHPW in the CAISAG VARBLIST if dictionary security is turned on. These values are used to generate a signon card for install steps that need to perform dictionary updates. If no values are specified and dictionary security is turned on then you will get error DC601059 VALID USER NAME WAS NOT SPECIFIED in install job 12.
