Hi all. My apologies in advance, I have not read the documentation yet...

We have an upcoming Benefits Realization initiative, and I'm setting up a demo of Cost and Benefits tracking in Clarity. I'm trying to anticipate the questions...

Q: Why, when a Benefit exceeds plan for period (Realized > Planned) as shown below, is the Variance presented in red with parentheses? This is a common paradigm for 'negative', is it not? When the Benefit under performs (Realized < Plan), it's shown in black, like it has exceeded. Maybe it's my lack of financial planning knowledge, but this looks backwards to me and it may for others as well. We're on Clarity 13.1.
