EXTEND SPACE

All

Being away from IDMS for a 3 years I thought I needed to make friends again with good ol’IDMS.
I have exercised vertical (page size) and horizontal (number of pages) unload/reloads. So I am happy here.
Next in line is EXTEND SPACE, in which I am having troubles with DMCL generation.
In using EMPDEMO I wish to extend space for 20 pages to EMPDEMO.EMP-DEMO-REGION

Page Low High Page
Area Name Shr Group Page Page Size DDNAME
---------------------- --- ----- ---------- ---------- ------ --------
SYSTEM.DDLDCLOD 0 67,001 67,630 4,820 DCLOD
SYSDIRL.DDLDML 0 71,001 75,800 4,820 DIRLDB
EMPDEMO.EMP-DEMO-REGION 0 77,501 77,550 4,276 EMPDEMO
EMPDEMO.INS-DEMO-REGION 0 77,601 77,625 4,276 INSDEMO
EMPDEMO.ORG-DEMO-REGION 0 77,751 77,775 4,276 ORGDEMO

This is what I felt would do it.

ALTER SEGMENT EMPDEMO;
Status = 0 SQLSTATE = 00000
ALTER FILE EMPDEMO.EMPDEMO2
ASSIGN TO EMPDEMO2
DSNAME 'SYS5.IDMS.TEST.EMPDEMO.EMPDEMO2'
;
Status = 0 SQLSTATE = 00000
ALTER PHYSICAL AREA EMPDEMO.EMP-DEMO-REGION
PRIMARY SPACE 50 PAGES FROM PAGE 77501
MAXIMUM SPACE 80 PAGES
;
Status = 1 SQLSTATE = 01605 Messages follow:
DB004051 T167 C1M6016: No FILE MAP FOR definition(s) in AREA EMPDEMO.EMP-DEMO-REGION
ALTER AREA EMPDEMO.EMP-DEMO-REGION
EXTEND SPACE 20 PAGES
WITHIN FILE EMPDEMO2
FROM 1 FOR ALL BLOCKS
;
Status = 1 SQLSTATE = 01607 Messages follow:

Thanks in advance.....Rob
