Resignation of Bob Wiklund from the IUA Board

Discussion created by lindajcasey on May 9, 2013
Effective last month, Bob Wiklund has resigned his position on the IUA board due to a change in business focus of his employer. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Bob for his many years of service as an IUA board member. Bob joined the board in 2001 and served in various capacities including International Chair and Treasurer. The good news is that he is not leaving the IDMS community.

Bob has 40+ years experience in data processing, beginning his career as a programmer working in a 360/65 environment. Over 35 years ago, he began working with IDMS release 3.2, and has held various positions within the IDMS community such as Data Base Administrator, Senior Customer Support Representative with Cullinet and Level 1 and Level 2 technical support consultant with Computer Associates. In addition, he has been involved in educating the IDMS community through public education classes and presentations at multiple CA-World and IUA Conferences.

Bob, we’re sorry to lose you from the board, but happy that you will continue as a valuable member of our community.

Linda J. Casey, IUA International Chair
