Reporting on "Shut Off" metrics

Hey everyone,

In our environment, I have a simple perl script that performs socket checks against remote WebLogic servers, and reports a 0 or 1 to an EPAgent based on whether the port is listening or not. Whenever one of our team members performs maintenance on a WLS server, or on a physical machine running many different WebLogic instances, they will disable one or more metrics under this EPAgent so that we don't get paged by the EM when the port(s) aren't available. The check works great, however, my problem is that people sometimes forget to re-enable a metric when they are finished performing the maintenance.

My question is this: Is it possible to have Introscope generate a report of disabled ("Shut Off") metrics in the EM, and send that report like any other report? I'm not very familiar with the reporting piece of APM, and I can't seem to figure out a way to make it work. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Joseph

Edit: Forgot to mention, we're running APM 9.5.0.0, and our EM's are RHEL 5.
