Rdy queue stuck job monitoring

How do other shops handle a job that has gotten stuck in the rdy queue and it not being noticed for a LONG time. Is there a way to make the operators aware of this happening?

I believe job in the RDY queue still show LATE. You can create an arfset to issue a console message based on LATE.
