no trace log created for SPS Agent

I have the SPS Agent configured and is communicatiing the with Policy sever. I'm getting challenged by the SiteMInder and the Policy configured is working fine but I'm unable see any logs being generated even when I have the following parameters configured in the ACO:

TraceConfigFile = /opt/CA/secure-proxy/proxy-engine/conf/defaultagent/SecureProxyTrace.conf
TraceFile = yes
TraceFileName= /opt/CA/smtrace.log

LogFile= yes
LogFileName = /op/CA/smagent.log

Based on these configurations, I should have been able to see the smagent.log and smtrace.log under the respective directories but nothing is being created even if when I restart SPS.

Please let me know your thoughts on this.
