Array Search by Index Values

Description:

Looping through data to locate one or a small number of matching elements is not the most efficient method of searching. Well-designed database applications employ indexes to locate rows corresponding key values to eliminate the need to search through entire tables to return the data matching specified criteria. By taking advantage of the behavior of native JavaScript arrays the same type efficiency can be implemented in CA Process Automation scripts.
