    issue

    just upgraded (that went fine) can't bring up npc concsole
    getting NPC 404 error

    Solution :

    There is a known issue where the installation of NPC 6.1.194 on an NFA
    9.1.3 console can give you that 404 error, due to the NPC installer getting
    "/" characters for the path from the registry instead of "\" characters.

    Here is how you can fix it:

    -Open IIS Manager and expand the server->Sites->Default Web Site.

    -Select the npc virtual app and click 'Basic Settings' on the right side.

    -Edit the 'Physical Path' property and replace any / with a \.

    -Repeat for the PortalWebService, SingleSignOn, VMWare, and WAAS virtual
    apps.

    -Run iisreset
