CA Service Desk Instrumentation with Wily APM

    Hi All,

    I have instrumented CA Service Desk with CA Wily APM.Whenever I am accessing Service desk only frontend is appearing in the investigator tree.How  can I instrument the object layer and backend as these are not appearing by default?

    CA Service Desk Version-12.7

    CA Wily APM Version- 9.1.0.2

    I just wrote an EPA plug-in for a POC to gather webstat metrics. Let me know if you're interested in using that data.

    Hi Manirul,

    We can monitor only the front end. APM cannot monitor DomServer or SpellServer as they are not Java or .NET applications.

    Do you have any dashboard developed?

    are you able to share it?

    I will implement the SDM monitoring but first I must have to make a presentation with the advantages of it and if you have this info available I will use it.

    No there is not. I developed this in conjunction with a customer remotely and I did not have a SD environment to do dashboards.

    Once deployed, the metrics are self-explanatory and you can quickly make one in a few minutes. Check the sample output log from webstats to see the contents of the data returned.
