Business Objects repository is composed by encrypted tables which are not readable from sql query tools. In order to query the data, you will have to use "BO Query Builder" tool.

There are 3“tables”:

CI_INFOOBJECTS
Contains objects that are often used to build the user desktop, such as favorites folders and reports.

CI_SYSTEMOBJECTS
Contains objects that are often used to build the admin desktop and internal system objects, such as servers, connections, users, and user groups.

CI_APPOBJECTS
Contains objects that represent Business Objects Enterprise applications. For example, the InfoView and Desktop Intelligence objects are stored in this table.

How to access to "BO Query Builder"?

Login using an administrator account:  http://<serverName>:Port/AdminTools

Sample:

SELECT SI_NAME, SI_SERVER_IS_ALIVE, SI_DISABLED, SI_SERVER_KIND,
SI_FRIENDLY_NAME, SI_EXPECTED_RUN_STATE FROM CI_SYSTEMOBJECTS
WHERE SI_KIND='SERVER'

Result shows “SI_EXPECTED_RUN_STATE“ value for server status:

0: stopped
1: running
2: restarting
