  • 1.  APM 9.1.6 and Missing CPU Metrics

    Posted Dec 03, 2013 12:40 PM

I have noticed that the CPU metrics on APM 9.1.6 is meeting for a WebSphere application on Redhat (see version blow) under a z/VM configuration.

Is there anything that needs to be configured to allow metrics to be gathered.

    Linux version 2.6.32-358.14.1.el6.s390x (mockbuild@s390-003.build.bos.redhat.com) (gcc version 4.4.7 20120313 (Red Hat 4.4.7-3) (GCC) ) #1 SMP Mon Jun 17 16:11:02 EDT 2013

    Thanks

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

The CPU metrics come from Platform Monitor. Platform Monitor does not seem to be supported on RedHat Linun on z/VM. Please check our compatibility guide for more details on the platforms where platform monitor is supported:

You can find  Platform Monitor  in "APM Extensions" tab.

    Best Regards

I have written a EPA plug-in which gathers CPU and Memory stats from RHEL on zSeries. You can find it in Documents > Tools > EPAgent Scripts.
