Email from BO not working

We are on ondemand 13.0 version . I have a ticket open with CA support to turn on the email option from BO and being told it is not supported. I remember being on one of the user forum where I was told to once we submit a ticket they would turn it on which they have done for other customers.

Could someone please let me know if this can be done or I am in wrong path?
