Macros in Clarity?

In Clarity Studio, the "Manager" attribute in the Project object shows the default as "Current User" and the subtext reads "(This value is derived from a macro, it is not fixed.)" I didn't think there was a "macro" capability in Clarity other than the process engine. Before I get my hopes up, can someone confirm my suspicion that the use of the term "macro" was simpler and shorter than saying something like... "It's a process engine thing. You wouldn't understand."
