Hi All,

I've recently moved our Actuate 8.1 server to a new VM we got in our UAT environment.

I was able to install the server and made it start without issues.

I've installed the Reports I have in the server, using the e.Report Designer 7.0. Running the reports from within the tool it works fine.

Now, when I run the reports from Clarity interface I am getting the following error in the Actuate server log files:
***0000014704*reJobMgr.cpp*01206*08000*2010NOV22*11:25:28
Job execution failed: Status No: 1 :
Basic Error: 1011
Module: afc\db.bas
Line: 193

Database Error

12560: ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error

Job Type = Sync Transient
WriteLockHandle = 1

RunSyncJob() failed: Status No: 1 :
Basic Error: 1011
Module: afc\db.bas

If I go to the Actuate server machine and do a "tnsping <tns name>" it works fine.

I am not sure why is this happening considering that the report I run on my machine using the Designer tool is using the same tns name I have configured in the Actuate server machine.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks,

Fabricio
