  • 1.  Command Line Error when Restarting Services

    Hi...
We are running Clarity on Windows and it is down.
My tech guy is off sick today, so I am trying to remember this stuff from a looooong time ago.
I am trying to rekick the services to see if that works.
Using the command line, went to the directory and ran the 'niku start all' line.
    Got this error...
'\Microsoft was unexpected at this time.'

Any ideas? Haven't seen this one before...

    Thanks!
    Andrea

The error you quote is of no help. Do you have anything more specific?

Try 'niku status all' and see if it runs and gives you a status (I guess it will say services are stopped).

Then, instead of starting them all in one command (the standard way), you could try individually e.g. 'niku start bg' but I suspect you would get the same error.

    Which directory were you in?

    I tried it from \niku, \niku\clarity, \niku\clarity\bin and \niku\clarity\lib...no avail.
And the status threw the same error...just the Microsoft thing.

I will check the PATH, but according to my colleagues, nothing was changed since Friday and it worked fine then...
