Clarity

Hi All,

We are installing Clarity 12.1 with BOXI 3.1 on 64 bit machine.
Whenever I try to test CA_Clarity universe from Designer -> Tools -> Connection, it gives me error as
“CS: DBDriver failed to load : E:\Clarity\CommonReporting3\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\dataAccess\connectionServer\dbd_oci.dll
(%1 is not a valid Win32 application.)”. Oracle client is installed on this machine.

If I try to run report in InfoView then it gives error as “Error in <<report name>>: Failed to load database information.”
Even if I try to run any report in InfoView from other 32 bit machine, I get the same error.

Do I have to carry out any separate configuration considering 64 bit machine? Has anyone encountered this problem?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Moving this over to the BO board.

For information purpose

Being 32 bit product, BO was not recognising 64 bit Oracle client. we had to install 32 bit client and it worked.
