Clarity 12.0 MSP Schedule Connect with 64 bit MSP 2010?

I am working with Clarity 12.0sp6 on a 64 bit Windows 7 PC which happens to have Microsoft Project 2010 in the 64 edition (yes, I realise this setup is not in the product architecture stack's defined range of MSP for this version).

Attempting to open a project in MSP from within Clarity gives a Visual C++ Runtime error. Looking through the troubleshooting document for MSP Schedule Connect I get to the stage where I am going to this path:

C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\Clarity\CA Clarity PPM MSPInterface\data
and then opening file "MSPAdd2K.mpp" in MSP.

At this point I get the following error from Visual Basic:

"File Compile error: The code on this project must be updated for use on 64 bit systems. Please review and update Declare statements and then mark them with the PrtSafe attribute."

I wondered if others had seen this error. If so then can you suggest what I might need to change to get the link working?
