    Hi

We are upgraded Clarity from 12.04 to 12.10001. There is no way, how we can upgrade the old BO to new BO 3.2. I exported every things from old BO (import wizard), than I uninstall the old BO and install the new BO 3.1. Than I set every things according the doc and import the objects, reports, univers from the old BO to the new BO thrue the Import wizadr. Than I ran the two jobs from Clarity. Everything OK. And than I tried to run the reports, but with this error. The path node '*' does not exist in the repository.

Do you know anybody, what doues it means?

    Thanks for help

    Regards, Majlos

    Hi

    Short investigation and workaround

When you are in the BO CMC Console, there is User and Gorups section.

The structure of Group Hierarchy looks like

    Administrators - Administrator

    CA Reports Admin - empty

    CA Reports Author - empty

    CA Reports Viewer - empty

    CA Universe Developer - empty

    CA-PPM_Reporting-User - List of users and CA-PPM-Reporting-Designer-User

    CA-PPM-Reporting-Designer-User - CA-PPM-Reporting-Admin-User

    CA-PPM-Reporting-Admin-User - empty

    Everyone - List of users
    .
    .

    Workaround

Add every users to the CA Reports Author group

And then the reports work fine

    regards, Majlos

Yes, this works. I was getting the following error also: The path node '*' does not exist in the repository.

Just add the user to the CA Reports Author group.

We are on 12.1.1 and added specific user CA-PPM-Reporting-User group and we still keep getting The path node '*' does not exist in the repository.
