CABI 3.2 (Clarity 12.1 SP1) and INV_INVESTMENTS in the universe

Odd-one this;

In our fresh (development) install of CABI3.2 we are hitting a CHAR/BLOB conversion error in the Universe Designer.

We create a new universe and open up the INV_INVESTMENTS table and we get an Oracle "Expected CHAR got BLOB" error message - seemingly triggered by the BLOB fields on that table?

We can "work around" this (since clearly we don't need the BLOB columns in the universe) with a database view which removes the BLOB columns, but it is confusing our BusinessObjects developers a little bit.

(we didn't get the problem in CABI3.1 running against a 12.1 install, only on the CABI3.2 against 12.1 SP1 - all against an Oracle database)

Any clues? (Not being a BusinessObjects developer myself, I only just understand what I am talking about here!)
