Error with Actuate 8iServer

Hello All,  I just finished an installation of the Clarity 8.1 instance with Actuate 8iServer as the reporting tool. I have provided the right path, the database name, passwords, port numbers etc in the NSA; the Actuate Process Management Daemon 8 Service/all other services  are also up and running.  But when I login into Clarity and  try to run a report the following error is obtained  Error connecting to reporting server. Error from server is javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: SOAP error:">"> Server Soap Server error. Login 3009 The specified user name or password is invalid.   I have tried to reintall Actuate, Java &  checked the environment variables to no use.
