  • 1.  Allocation/Actuals not Reflecting Resource Availability

We have our standard calendar's shift set as 7 hrs/day. But for some resources we have set their Availability to 7.5. And now for some Projects, when the Work Effort Unit of Measure is set to days, it doesnt reflect the 7.5 hrs/day set for the resource. Its using the default 7hrs/day. Why is this so? I tried manually running the Time Slicing job, but still not reflecting. Is this a bug? We're using Clarity ver8.0. Thanks and appreciate any help.

The days to hours or vice versa conversion is done with one factor only and that is the day lenght in the standard or base calendar (the one which is in prsite table) If you change the day length from the default 8 in the base calendar beware, install of fixpacks sets that back to 8 without informing you. Martti K.
