Hi All,                     We have developed a code for Hierarchical Query, which uses unions for implementing the filters. But, this is causing a major issue in the performance, as there is a lot of data and the whole query runs each time we click on the '+' sign. We wanted to know if there is  another way of implementing the filters, may be using 'case' statements, which might improve the performance. Please let us know of any other way we can write the existing Query. The existing Query expands upto 4 levels. And also is there anyway, we can restrict the data at top level, that is, when we filter based on the top level, only data corresponding to top level appears and it should not expand to next level. Only when we filter on the next levels should the data appear starting from top level. Is there any way, where we can write the query in such a way that only a part of the query executes based on the filter conditions.
