Background Services and Scheduling

Has anybody figured out a way to schedule a stop and restart of background services in Clarity?      We operate in a windows environment and it appears that the background services do not release all the memory they use when they finish processing.     The only work around we have found is a manual stop and restart of services.     It would be much better if we could schedule that to happen automaticaly off hours.  Thanks in advance,Steven
