We are currently working on an upgrade from 8.1 to 12.   During the upgrade process a few errors occur and it stops the install.   I'm at a little bit of a loss.   We already upgraded a test environment with no problems.   I have included the error below.   The registry keys that it is looking for don't exist.   They also don't exist in our test environment.   I am not sure why this is throwing and error now, but didn't in our test environment.   Thanks in advance.  10/21/09 3:10 PM (ExecTask) D:\niku\clarity\.setup\scripts\readsvc.js(9, 1) WshShell.RegRead: Invalid root in registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSSQL\DisplayName".
