Citizens
expect a lot more from their government today: Services like 311 and
911 call centers are on government’s new front line. A broad range of
new and emerging technologies need to be managed. Rapid implementation,
24/7 availability and quick response are the rule rather than the
exception.IT managers must prioritize projects to insure the
right ones are moving forward.   Project and portfolio management (PPM )
is a critical component of an effective IT governance program. Strong
PPM helps keep control of these and other issues.   See how these
challenges are being met in California’s Dept of Food and Ag, New York
City’s DOITT and in Oakland County, Mich.[left][left]    http://www.ca.com/us/success/collateral.aspx?cid=172315
