Hi Sundar. I took a Dashboard live for Resource Managers and Leadership in our organization last week. Essentially I've used it as an "Admin rollout" feature at this time - the users only have Dashboard - Navigate. We've piloted granting power users Dashboard - Create so they can begin leveraging some of the "Personal" power user features of this enhancement, but we're seeing licensing implications that we're not pleased with, so we reeled this pilot back in. It's possible what we're observing is a bug, so I've documented what we've seen and sent this up the ladder via our rep. What I like about Personal Dashboarding from the Sys Ad/Developer hat:1) Provides a Framework to more easily roll out Dashboards & Portlets.2) Cuts back on menu, page and tab creep (they way we've been building this stuff out up until now).3) Produces an instance of a portlet, so via some configuration changes you can produce multiple tools out of the same portlet(s).4) If we get to roll out the Dashboard - Create features, I look forward to training and supporting power users as they build out what they need! What I like about Personal Dashboarding from a Business User hat:1) Allows teams to more easily build & share customized tools ( If we get to roll out the Dashboard - Create features).2) Since portlets are instances , users can build specialized tools out of the same portlet - configure once for each use.3) Allows "self service" (again, i f we get to roll out the Dashboard - Create features). Enhancement Opportunity:It is possible for a user with Dashboard - Create permissions to share a dashboard to user who do not have permissions to view the portlets on the dashboard. Possible solution:Provide "Available for Personal Dashboards" checkbox on portlets much like the new "Available for User Portlets" checkbox on queries. When checked, allow the portlet, when used on a Dashboard, to be seen by whoever the Dashboard author shares the dashboard with. A "View" override permission. Bugs:1) The Full View tab shows all users with Dashboard - Navigate permissions regardless if the Dashboard has been shared (state: no one but the author can see it). One would expect the names listed to be those that the Dashboard has been shared with (those who can view it).2) Licensing implications?
