    Why? Is normal Java GC not doing what's it's supposed to do?

    The orphan process issue is related to way EPA was spawning processes.

     

    The problem in the original thread dealt with Windows and the fact that the user did not properly install Win32::PerfLib to use the Windows DiskStat plug-in.

     

    Java GC should take of any processes if the developer has done their job.
