We want to Trigger .sh script in Remote Unix Box , this is to check the status of a application server and start it if stopped.
This doesn't seem like a question about LISA Service Virtualization. Which product is this question regarding?
If you are trying to run the remote script as part of a test workflow, there are multiple options:
1. Use command line execution with "rsh" - for remote shell
2. Just run LISA Simulator on the remote unix machine and you can then select any Step in the test case to be executed on that simulator
Building off of Rajeev's comment, another common way is to simply use ssh:
> ssh user@host "command_to_run"
You can use SSH step, This is a custom step which is not available out of the box with LISA product. You can reach out to LISA Support team to get this and trigger/read/write to Remote Unix Box.
Using the CA DSeries agent (cybermation / job scheduling), one can have a condition based job executions on the remote servers. Not sure, if you are referring to this product.
