    Hi All,

    I am setting up MQ Broker Monitoring using MBMonitor version 9.5. I have one MQ broker which is fine. When I setup the other one I get the following message:

    8/01/14 10:36:02 AM EDT [FATAL] [com.wily.powerpack.websphereMQ.agent.MQMonitor.MBMonitor.v7.MBTreeConfigMain] Broker a broken connection!

    I don't find any explanation for this message in the handbook, on Google and on this Message board. Has anybody seen this?

    Thank you

    Gabriela

    Hi Gabriela,

    Please make sure you're using the correct properties file (for MB7, it should be MBMonitor_7.properties file). If that's verified, please try to specify a proper channel name for the CMP connection.

    :::

    #a.channelname=WILY.SVRCONN[If this property is not configured, SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG channel and SYSTEM.DEF.SVRCONN channel

    #would be used by default for CMP and JMS connections respectively]

    Hope it helps.

    Regards,

    James.

    Thank you for your response - the issue is gone after the MQ Admin made some access right changes on the MQ system. I cannot tell which exactly, but it was an access rights issue.
