Is there any way we can save transaction count of the services deployed in VSE console? If service gets restarted all the count will reset to zero, so want to save all the transaction count before and after the restart.
Are you referring to individual service transaction counts? Or, total transaction counts? As Bhavink stated, that information SHOULD be in the database but finding the right query to pull it out can be challenging. I added a counter and a log to each of my service models so that the information is stored in a log I can easily get to. I used to take the log and parse the data out of it and put it in a spreadsheet. Now that my organization has invested in Splunk, I use Splunk to query the log and present a dashboard for me with info such as; total transactions this year, services consumed in the last 3 months, and how often those services are consumed. I think a nice enhancement to the VSE console would be to display a count for the life of the service, a count since last restart, and a timestamp of when the service was last consumed.
Yes you are correct I am referring to individual service transaction counts for the lifetime of the service.
In your LISA Database, you will find a table by name VSE_METRICS_TXN_COUNTS. This should give you the details of the services along with the transaction count. Hope this was helpful.
I am not seeing any tables in lisa.db though I am able to pull the tables fromlisa-demoserver.db which is not my requirement.
Getting "No current connection" error incase of lisa.db. I am using squirrel client.
Let me know if you can share more details.
Please try connecting to the LISA DB (after copying the file to your local machine or wherever you have squirrel tool installed) using squirrel client via derby client driver if you are having issues connecting to it remotely. Please let me know if this helps.
