  • 1.  Gateway outbound https connections with different certificates

    I have a client that want to use our https routing assertion to call Backend services using https + 2-way ssl.

    In different services they want to present/attach different Certs to the backend service to perform user/cert authentication on the backend side.

     

    Is this possible? And if yes – how.

    My understanding is that outbound https + 2-way ssl will always present the cert of the default private key of the gateway.

    If you right-click on the HTTPS Routing assertion, you can “Select Private Key” – default key, no key, or custom key.
