Hello,

we are having an issue with exporting data to Excel from our custom portlet (based on query), after filtering there are 63820 results, but the Clarity exports only 25000 (+1 which is header).

In Clarity System Options there is no limit.

When I tried to set 200 000 rows limit in System Options there is en error:

Does this mean, that Clarity can not export more than 25000 rows?

Please have anybody idea how to solve this?

Correct - This is to avoid performance issues

Really? In Clarity 13.2 there was limit of 65k rows (because of xls format limitation) so they changed it in 13.3?

Hi Martin,

The Global Setting referred in this error message is the one in the Application tab in CSA as shown below.

In Clarity System options for 'Maximum rows for Export to Excel', you can only enter a value <= the one you have set here in CSA side.

you may find a reporting solution is more appropriate for this kind of size data extract.

One other thing to be aware of with Excel is when you try to filter your output, we have encountered this condition with some of our exports and extracts that create csv files that we open with MS Excel.

In Excel 2003, the AutoFilter DropDown list will show the first 1,000 unique items. If you have more than 1,000 unique items in the list, only the first 1,000 items appear.

In Excel 2007 and higher versions, the AutoFilter DropDown list will show the first 10,000 unique items. If you have more than 10,000 unique items in the list, only the first 10,000 items appear.

NOTE: Excel 2007 PivotTable DropDown list will show the first 65,534 unique items. Excel 2010 and higher version PivotTable DropDown list will show the first 10,000 unique items.

To work around this issue, use the AutoFilter command on several smaller sections of the data instead of on all the data at the same time. All list items will be visible if each subset has no more unique members than the limit for the particular version of Excel.

In Excel 2010 and higher a Search feature was added to the Filter DropDown list which allows the user to use search to display records that are not in the first 10,000 unique items.

We recently upgraded to 15.2 and we see this popup when try to export. In earlier version (13.3) , we were able to export  anything.

Does anyone know if any limitation added now.  CSA(In NSA) and  Administration--> General Settings-->system options   also does not have this 'Maximum rows for Export to Excel' in v15.2. so we can not increase limit.

The governor properties of PPM are managed in governor file and no longer maintained in CSA.
