  • 1.  At times we face this issue in clarity - "processing your request"

    Hi team,

    When our users are trying to access clarity at times they are encountered with message in User Interface as "processing your request" for a while, later then when they referesh the page - everything works good.

     

    Is there any particular reason for this message, is there any way that we could prevent this in future?...Please pour In your comments.....

    I should relate that to bad connection from browser to app server - database and back.

    See it on the Sandboxes every now and then for no reason at all and then at another time no problem at all.

    Monitor your connections and response times.

    Eg opening the liging page and opening the sechduled jobs page. Establish a good response time and bad response time and see where you are when you get that behaviour to see if it relates to network connection response time.

    Thanks for ur reply NJ,

    Yes we do recycle the services, when we expreience this issue for a longer time.

    I wanted to know if it is something is wrong with app / with the architecture where clarity is being implemented.

    This is a known defect per CA. We had this immediately upon upgrading to 13.3 Users need to refresh their screen to continue.  I usually only get it if I click faster than the system can process or click before it finishes loading a screen type of situations.

    2017 and on 14.2, moving to 15.1 later this year.  Have finally traced this error down and found this discussion.

     

    We still have this error on 14.2.

     

    Does anyone know if there is a fix coming for this "known defect?"
