CA IDMS Tuesday Tip by Edward Gorga, Principal Support Engineer for November 4, 2014

A new change to IDMS in 18.0 and 18.5 will soon be released which will disable the ability to hook CSA and NVT vectors directly by modifying the address in the CSA. The only way to do this will be with the use of the new #HOOK macro. This macro will allow a user program to gain control before a vector is passed control.    If you have programs that are currently doing this they will need to be modified to use the new #HOOK macro.

See RI75596 for the full announcement.

See RI71031 for documentation on the #HOOK macro.
