Anyone who knows how the Lessons Learned Log works in practice in Clarity. Where does data from the log come from? I would assume from a project but I can't find it in my setup.
Please educate me: I can't find it at all. Which Clarity version and where do you have it?
I find Lessons Learned Log here
Tool Manager PPM Clarity
+45 43 20 30 40
+45 43 20 32 74
+45 25 41 74 96
+45 43 25 34 47
Thanks, so it appears to be in the Prince2 add-in
Yes, but I am wondering how data is fed.
Looking at the CA Clarity PPM Accelerator for PRINCE"2 Product Guide it appears to me as if that accelerator is similar to others: custom objects, custom fields and custom portlets. The data in entered to those in the GUI and the reports pull them out.
To know which tables and fields in the database you would have to look in Administration - Objects and locate the Prince Reports, Management Process etc and then look at the attributes view. Those items may be subobjects of the project object so if you sort the object view by that you might find them easier.
urmas is correct.
Lessons Learned is a sub-object of the Project Object. This comes as part of the Prince2 Accelerator addin.
You can create a Lessons Learned report to pass on any lessons learned from the current project that can be usefully applied to other future projects.
The data in this report can be used by groups such as quality assurance that are responsible for the quality management system, or for refining, changing, and improving the standards.
You can enter that data through a subpage within your project.
In your case the subpage had a display condition that was never true.
Hope this resolves your issue.
Thanks for sharing this, Nitin
We do no have this Prince2 Accelerator. Do you have a link to any materials that describe it, with screenshots, etc.?
Can you check if the attached helps ?
