What is the maximum number of investments that can be in a portfolio?  Version/Build 13.3.0.286 04 3.

The following limits apply to the maximum number of attributes, investments, and roles that you can include in a portfolio:

■ Attributes=700

■ Investments=250

■ Roles=25

==================================================

The limit CANNOT be increased.

This limit of 250 investments is something I've really been struggling with since we moved to v13.2

Working for a large organisation with many hundreds of investments active across the enterprise we can no longer use the portfolio module across our full portfolio.

This seems a crazy design limitation.

Any suggestions as to how it was intended large organisations would work with such a limitation?

Regarding the ability to change the limits.

As per the technical article .......

Limit on Portfolio Investments

Portfolio Management (PFM) is limited by design for performance reasons to only include up to 250 investments and 25 roles. This is documented in the Portfolio scenarios documentation guide.  This is a fixed amount and is not configurable.

SaaS / On Demand Customers - this limit must remain in force.

For both On Premise and SaaS, Our recommendation is to upgrade to v14.2 or v14.3 which is soon to be released

The limit on the number of investments that can be linked to a portfolio is gone in ver 14.2 so you may consider an upgrade as well.
