IF yes kindly provide the procedure for Linux OS.
Is this for clarity or BO. If for clarity then follow the stpes
1. Stop all the services
2. Download the new tomcat
3. keep the back up of old tomat folders and move to different directory
4. Extract the new tomcat to the old folder
Your tomcat is upgraded, execute the startup.bat/startup.sh to and open the homapage of tomcat to see the version
Basically you can.
However, you may if the new version is supported. See the documentation for you version of Clarity and BO (Release notes Compatibilities).
If it is not supported you may end up in your system not working at all.
My clarity version is 13.1 is it support to tomcat 6 or more version
Sam steps, you need to untar the tomcat in linux.
Thanks for your suggestion.

With clarity 13.1 Apache Tomcat 7.0.26 or higher patch level (64-bit) is supported
You can find that type of information on the Release Notes for the version you are looking for.
See the Application Server information on the Compatibilities section (page 23):
On this case, for 13.1, is the information that Suman pointed above.
Thanks for your reply and I got the detail information.
But I am going to plan upgrade my application version from 5.5 to 7.
If any issue will come then I will inform you.
