January 8, 2015    10:04:37 AM    from Stephen Forney to Everyone:Where I can find the Apache Tomcat Log Analysis Package?

The CA Clarity PPM 14.1: Supportability and Check Install Updates 200 course (33CLR23240) describes the Apache Tomcat Log Analysis package and the speaker stated that the Log Analysis Package would be placed on “The Community” for access.

Furthermore, the speaker indicated that the Log Analysis package would be “packaged up” using the new 14.1 feature - Studio Content Manager (SCM).

I have search the community and cannot find any reference to the JAR file (Loganalysis_1.0.0_20140926111543) that was referenced in the course (33CLR23240).

January 8, 2015    10:05:00 AM    from Stephen Forney to Everyone:sorry

January 8, 2015    10:05:35 AM    from Chris Hackett (CA) to Everyone:We're all ready for questions folks!

January 8, 2015    10:06:19 AM    from Chris Hackett (CA) to Everyone:@Stephen - Checking into your question

January 8, 2015    10:07:07 AM    from Nei Villas Boas to Everyone:Hi! I need to upload (OnDemand) multiple docs to several collaboration projects (60 projects, 30 docs each...) to Clarity. Is there a way to do it with XOG or sendind by FTP? Is there some documentation about this?

January 8, 2015    10:08:52 AM    from Atul Kunkulol to Everyone:Question on Rate Matrix - When the Rate Matrix is configured by Department, it will not apply the rates for unit and descendents of the Department OBS. It will only apply the rates for UNIT ONLY. Is there a setting which can do the unit and descendents on Department OBS?

January 8, 2015    10:09:23 AM    from Patricio Guarda to Everyone:Hi, I have a general question.  What happened to green books for Clarity? :-)  Most of them are from 2011.  Have nothing changed since then? I'm interested in Security concerns and the greenbook of the topic is based on version 12, could I just assume advices there will work in the latest version?

January 8, 2015    10:10:30 AM    from Nika Hadzhikidi (CA) to Everyone:@Stephen, I am not aware of the specific package that was referred to in this course. In 14.1 there is a new job called Tomcat Access Log Import/Analyze Job. This job imports and analyzes Tomcat access log files from the local Clarity environment. Would this be similar to what you heard referred to as 'package'?

January 8, 2015    10:12:24 AM    from Stephen Forney to Everyone:@Nika The Log Analysis package is a collection of a Portlet Page and 20+ portlets - these portltes read the new tables that get populated from the job - so I am looking for the Portlets that were developed by SWAT (Sean Harp) - I think

January 8, 2015    10:14:23 AM    from Liz Williamson (CA) to Everyone:@Atul  Are you referring to resource OBS for getting rates from the rate matrix?

January 8, 2015    10:14:31 AM    from Nika Hadzhikidi (CA) to Everyone:@Stephen, OK I see, you are looking for the portlets. Let me check how you can get those and I will get back to you by email.

January 8, 2015    10:14:56 AM    from Atul Kunkulol to Everyone:@Nika - Financial Department OBS.

January 8, 2015    10:15:10 AM    from John W. George (CA Technologies) to Everyone:@Patricio. Hi Patricio, regarding your green books question. We unfortunately do not maintain or update them anymore. Our policy regarding green books is if something if found that is missing, wrong, or needs to be updated that we would update that information in the product documentation instead. If you find anything that needs to be updated in the documentation, please feel free to reach out to us at TechPubs@ca.com. Thanks!

January 8, 2015    10:16:18 AM    from Mitesh Patel to Everyone:Any news on the 14.2 15.1 release sorry i joined late

January 8, 2015    10:16:18 AM    from Patricio Guarda to Everyone:@John Thank you very much for the clarification!

January 8, 2015    10:17:01 AM    from Liz Williamson (CA) to Everyone:@Atul This comes from the department setting on the investment financial page and would need to be specific

    January 8, 2015    10:17:33 AM    from John W. George (CA Technologies) to Everyone:@Patricio - you're welcome!

January 8, 2015    10:18:36 AM    from Atul Kunkulol to Everyone:@Liz - ok. So if there are resources setup at multiple levels of financial department, each department unit has to be set in the Rate Matrix to get the right rate. Right?

January 8, 2015    10:18:41 AM    from Chris Hackett (CA) to Everyone:Ready for more questions!

January 8, 2015    10:19:31 AM    from Nika Hadzhikidi (CA) to Everyone:@Nei : this should be possible by XOG. You should be able to find more information on this in the XOG Developer guide. FTP will not be simple since a specific numbering is used for the folders. I would suggest you try with one document with XOG and see if it works well for you.

January 8, 2015    10:32:01 AM    from Liz Williamson (CA) to Everyone:@Atul,  you actually need to create a calculated attribute first
