Hi,

I am trying to configure ADLDS as a policy Store and followed the steps given in the PS Install Guide. I am using PS 12.52 and followed the below steps after installing my policy server.

smldapsetup ldgen -f"E:\CA Software\ADLDS_new.ldif"

smldapsetup ldmod -f"E:\CA Software\ADLDS_new.ldif"

smldapsetup ldmod -fE:\Netegrity\siteminder\xps\db\ADLDS.ldif -v

smreg -su <my_admin_password>

XPSDDInstall SmMaster.xdd

XPSDDInstall command fails with the following error

smreg -su <my_admin_password> -- run this after importing data definition command.

XPSDDInstall SmMaster.xdd

Also, have you configured ADLDS instance correctly with user having administrative permission over instance.

the CN which I used has admin privilege over the Policy Store Instance.

As always, I installed PS 12.52 and followed the steps given in PS Install Guids (page number 139 onwards). LDS was configured by my AD Team, but I have Admin rights over it.

There are couple points I request you check,

1) Settings of data tab for Policy store / key store ( including successful connection to policy store & key store ).

2) After above check, run 'XPSSweeper' command.

3) If no error from above steps, then run XPSDDInstall.

Are you installing policy Server on windows / Linux , either case make sure you have memory & CPU as per recommendation.

Console is configured correctly and I am able to connect to it. It was able to import the schema's, but it failed when it was trying to load the objects under XPS.

Is issue still persists, did you tried running XPSSweeper.

Also, could you please tell me on which OS are you installing Policy Server ?
