I am trying to get result of all projects on OBS level where user has PM edit rights. i am getting rrsult on Lower level OBS but not top ones. did any one try this before?
I believe your question has to do with CA PPM (formerly known as CA Clarity), so I have moved your question into the CA PPM community, where product experts are more likely to see/answer your question.
Can you check this ?
And this ?
Query on OBS and its Descendents. how to?
Simple NSQL Query for Resource & OBS Unit
SQL to Add OBS of Resources
Query for OBS Unit and Descentants
What specific steps are you using?
Are you in the application on the Project List View or are you trying to develop a query or develop a portlet?
Pragya, can you please explain your requirement again? If you're looking for a particular OBS level, why do you expect data for higher levels?
Or... It is possible that your OBS association for projects is at 'lowest level only'. That will explain why higher level OBS (units) don't return data. Best bet is to find a project via the UI and then see if your query returns is at the expected OBS level.
I'm confused... urmas = pragya?
Thank you giving me thoughts. I am trying to write qruery which i will use in custom script. I am using table cmn_sec_assgin_right. instance_right to OBS_unit_id and prj_obs_association.unit_id = OBS_unit_id and record if from prj_obs_association to get all projects and principal_id to get all users. who have pm edit rights on all projects under that OBS unit.
but I am getting projects at lower level of OBS but if I test my result from UI. I could see that user have PM edit rights on 2 level and top level of OBS.
You could also turn on Action Trace. Go to the Project List View and filter for different OBS Units and the OBS association mode ... and see how the application builds the query for the results based on the OBS association mode.
