A resource enter 8 hours a day but after submit it will be changed to 64 hours a day. Why? if there is any account settings will lead this 8 times?
There is no settings which multiplies the timesheet hours when submitted as far as I know.
How is the user submitting the hours? - There is option to enter in the total column and when you save/submit, it gets divided among all the work days for that week in the task. So if there are 8 tasks and you enter 8 hours each in the total column, its going to come back as 64.
Can you paste a screenshot of how the actuals are entered in the timesheet and one other screenshot after you click save/submit?
Thanks for your reply. We found the cause. There is a configuration "Display Unit" in timesheet [Configure]. It was set to Days in this resource. But for others, it is Hours. So it showed 8 "Days" in that resource's timesheet, but 64 "Hours" in manager's view.
You could argue that it is the setting. The factor comes from the length of the working day in the default calendar
We have also encountered with this type of issue, where proejct manager can see 10 times hours after submitting for approval. we have checked display unit its shows "Hours" for resource and manager view. Please advise on this issue
What is your Clarity version ?
Also, can you post the screenshots from the settings page of the resource, the manager, and the global settings (Admin > Timesheet Options (Display Time Entry Options section))
