  • 1.  Log of Retry action of Escalation Policy

    Hi,

We have configured a Retry attempt=2 for all escalation policies.

Are there any logs that keep a tab of this retry action (like for which alert ID/ at what time did its count change)?

This came in my mind after I noticed a 'Process Automation Error' followed by a ticket ID in the action history (for same alert) of an escalation policy.

What was surprising was, that 'Process Automation Error' message was overridden by the Incident ID in the Action History.

    Thanks

You can enable debugging by logging into the SOI Manager's web page.  In the debug area, there is an option for escalation actions I believe.  Be sure to ckick the option, set to max debugging and save.

The output will get placed into the manager debug log on the manager server.

When you are done with debug disable the option and save.
