  • 1.  Content Pack Installation - Database Deploy failed - Add-Ins Failed to Install

    Hello Everyone:

     

    Clarity 14.1

    Oracle Linux Server Release 6.6

    DB Oracle 11G

     

    New installation. Clarity Installed OK. At the time we tried to install the add-ins csk and/or csp we get the following error:

    "Database Deploy failed: [CA Clarity][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object" - Are you trying to install the db again ?

    We re-installed the clarity out of the box DB and re-executed the "admin content csk" installation with the same results.

     

    How could be an duplicated object with an empty database?

    Hi GermanK

    Have you checked these:

     

    "Check admin.log or use -verbose for more information."

     

    There will probably be more info there or different errors pointing to the root cause. If that doesn't help, please raise a case with CA Support. Include admin.log, install.log and install.xml that failed.

    Hello BILJANA

     

    Yes, the Support CASE was opened back on 1/27 under number 00012166: CSP Installation Failed.

    I believe all the add-ins installation will fail with the same results. I did run the installer again for csk with the force and the verbose options with the same results.

    Thank you all for looking into this ... all the ideas and suggested tests are taken into account.


    Let me see if I can attach here the output for the command with verbose and force options

    Issue Resolved guys.

     

    The "admin db analyze" showed there was a problem with the database schema. We re-uploaded de DB by replacing the niku schema for the new clarity schema and it resolved the issue. Thank you to all of you for helping me up.
